#1. Location: choose a level and stable area for your firepit, far away from flammable structures, overhanging tree branches, or vegetation. Ensure there's ample space for seating and circulation around the firepit.

#2. Local regulations: we are familiar with local building codes and regulations for any restrictions or requirements related to firepit construction, such as permits, property setbacks, and approved materials.

#3. Fuel type: determine whether you prefer a wood-burning, gas, or propane firepit. Each type has its advantages and drawbacks. Wood-burning firepits create a traditional ambiance but may require more maintenance, while gas and propane firepits are often cleaner and easier to use but do require additional utility work to connect the gas.

#4. Materials: select materials that are heat-resistant, durable, and complement the overall aesthetic of your outdoor space. Common firepit materials include natural stone, concrete blocks, bricks, and metal inserts. As professionals we're not going to use an unsafe materials.
